Doctoral Studies
The doctoral programme is intended for graduates of a master’s (engineering) degree. Doctoral students are prepared to tackle the most demanding tasks in applied science and practice. The programme follows an individual study plan and culminates in a state doctoral examination and the defence of a dissertation, through which the candidate demonstrates the ability to conduct independent, creative research.
Doctoral studies at the Department of Production Machines and Equipment (Ú12135) can be pursued within the programme Design Engineering and Mechatronics.

Dissertation
- The Ph.D. degree is awarded upon completion of a sufficiently comprehensive research project that yields new knowledge and the successful writing and defence of a dissertation.
