Design support
We offer end-to-end execution of engineering designs—from the initial concept to full drawing documentation. The properties of the proposed machine can be verified and improved using computational simulations and optimization of structural and thermal characteristics. To underscore the machine’s strengths, we can also prepare an industrial design concept.
Measurement and inspection of machines
Machine behavior can be verified through accredited measurements of geometric accuracy, structural and thermal properties, and measurements of noise and vibration of whole machines and their components. Performance tests make it possible to identify structural weak points in relation to the manufacturing process.


Support for commissioning and tuning of the machine
An assembled machine will meet requirements only if its mechanical and electrical parts are properly harmonized. By correctly setting drive and control-system parameters, it is possible to increase part-production productivity while maintaining the required accuracy.

The Machine Development Department specializes in advanced modeling, machine design solutions, and machine accuracy and energy efficiency.
Advanced modeling and machine accuracy primarily involve computational and simulation support for the development, research, and analysis of machine and component properties and machine behavior in the machining process. Activities focus both on collaboration with machine manufacturers in numerous projects and on R&D of modern computational methods and procedures, without which the development of advanced machines today would be unthinkable.
